My name is Aperahama Wairau-Mason aka Tangata Tumatarau (Ngaāti Tūwharetoa, Te Atiawa, Mangaia) I am the world's first contemporary Māori card magician who carries out my craft in both English and Te Reo Maori.

Born in Te Awakairangi, and raised in the birth place of Kohanga Reo. Mokopuna to Uri from Ngati Tuwharetoa and Te Atiawa, who handed down the Tikanga of Kari Takaro from a tepu at the back of the marae, home and even kitchen; comes a Te Reo Māori based cardistry magic act, Performed by Aotearoa’s first Te Reo card magician.
